Description

The Omega Speedmaster Mark II, introduced in 1969, features a unique tonneau-shaped case and retained the classic Speedmaster design with added “Mark II” text. It utilized the caliber 861, which was a replacement for the earlier caliber 321. The “Racing Dial” version, characterized by its matte grey finish and vibrant accents, is particularly sought after by collectors due to its striking design and racing aesthetic.

Omega has revisited the “Racing” dial theme in later models, including limited editions and a modern version launched in 2014 for the watch’s 45th anniversary.
